Well, now that I've given Rick a pass till the end of October, I can "bend" as many minds as I like (evil laugh). Are you Ready?
#1.The classic TV shows Highway Patrol, Mike Hammer, and Sea Hunt all have something in common. What is it? That they're in black and white is not it.
#2. What was Broderick Crawford's name and radio call sign on Highway Patrol?
#3. Before The Name of the Game. Tony Franciosa was in a half hour show. What was it called, Who was his co-star, and on what network?
#4. What famous director started off by doing Wanted Dead or Alive and The Rifleman shows?
#5. Brain Buster. On the end titles of Sea Hunt, you see a boat just leaving a pier. The pier was the private one of Marine Land of the Pacific in as, we locals call, it PV (Palos Verdes, CA). It's gone now. But in the 60's, it was uesd on what classic TV show and feature film?

These are hard. I know that Broderick Crawford played Chief Dan Matthews on Highway Patrol but cannot remember his radio call sign.
ReplyDeleteTony Franciosa was on Valentine's Day co-starring Barney Miller's Jack Soo. But no idea on which network it aired.
ShariLee, your pretty good I"m Impressed about Valentine's Day . I tought you Ms .Steve McQueen Fan would nail #4 .I'm not saying any thing more till Sunday
ReplyDeletePaul, you're killing me. I know those shows, but can't answer a single question. Is there a dunce prize?
ReplyDeletePaul, I know I should know number 4, but it hasn't come to me yet. Will have to think about it about.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I am not going to post my answer to number 4 since I sort of cheated. It was driving me crazy and I didn't look on the web but I did check out my box set of Wanted Dead or Alive and one name jumped out at me as the director I think you are talking about.
ReplyDeleteSharilee I knew you would go there.Becky Yes there is but but I don't think you will want it. You have to go back and Fact Check all 295 of Bill / Cliff's worthless Blogs@CFU Should take you about 15 seconds.
ReplyDeletePaul, Paul! You couldn't be that cruel! It would be the most horrible 15 seconds imaginable. NO! NOOOO!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm feeling pretty good about this week. It's nice to have a free pass!
ReplyDeleteWe should start a new segment called Cup o' Coffey where we just list cast/crew info and nothing else.
ReplyDeleteSark ,no Bad Coffey at the cafe.Ever.
ReplyDeleteWere you serious, Sark? That would be a fun game...to list cast/crew and omit some of the big stars and see if folks can figure out the movie (perhaps adding stars if required if people...like me...have trouble guessing).
ReplyDelete1. They were all half-hour shows?
ReplyDelete2. 10-4?
4. Sam Peckinpah?
5. Flipper?
Parts of questions were already answered.
Sazbal, you have to wait till Sunday Night. You might have one right, we will see.
