#4. I think it was, The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938).
ReplyDeleteCast:
Errol Flynn, Oliva de Havilland, Basil Rathbone and Claude Rains.
#7. Moon, blew up his drum set.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Dawn!
ReplyDeleteAs to #4, sorry, the answer is not Robin Hood. But don't give up yet!
I think you mean #6, not #7. If so, you're partly correct, but there's a lot more to it than that...that was just the beginning! I need more!
#7 would be John Candy.
ReplyDelete2. I can hardly bring myself to say it -- Paul McCartney (great Beatle, but Romeo?)
ReplyDelete4. I think it was Captain Blood, but he didn't get screen credit for it.
5. They had Pete Seeger on. The network removed the song he sang on the show ("Waist Deep" something, anti-war song). Idiot suits -- that's a personal editorial comment.
I wish I had taken part last week -- I just love Vincent Prie and I knew that answer!
Rick, you got it! Woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteBecks, you're on a roll tonight! Got #s 2, 3, and 5, the song was "Waist Deep in the Big Muddy".
BTW, they brought Seeger back for the last show of the season and he sang the song again. This time the censors left it in....take THAT, CBS!!
Both shows with Pete Seeger, and the "Who incident" are on the Best of the Smothers Brothers Season 2 DVD set.
ReplyDeleteAlright!! And Joann, what a different Errol pic - looks like he has no good on his mind -- that's fine with me!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you would recognize Errol with no mustache, LOL!
ReplyDeleteBoy, he really has "bedroom eyes" in that picture, doesn't he? Taken when he was VERY young!
Rick, sorry to add this here..I really had no idea where else to post it.. Because of the wonderful job you have done putting this blog together for everyone to hang out. Ive awarded you the "Stylish Blogger award" (Details over at Noir and Chick Flicks).
ReplyDeleteRecap: still need to answer Who Am I?, Who Said This?, #s 1, 3, and (part of) 6. I mistakenly said that Beck had answered #3 but it was #4....sorry for any confusion!
ReplyDeleteCome on people! Try your luck, LOL!
