The Movie-TV Connection Game (May 2016)

What do Tony and Veronica have in common?
National Classic Movie Day is May 16th! That's got nothing to do with this game--we just wanted to give it a plug. Now for the rules: You will be given a pair or trio of films or performers. Your task is to find the common connection. It could be anything--two stars who acted in the same movie, two movies that share a common theme, etc. As always, don't answer all the questions so others can play, too. There is a single best answer for each question.

    #10 They both played the same character (Eula) in The long Hot Summer. Lana in the TV version, Lee in the movie. Plus both were gorgeous.

      Toto, well done on #14! It never occurred to me that Joanne and Anthony were both in WUSA (which I haven't seen in decades). Walter Pigeon wasn't in Random Harvest (though it's the kind of movie he did appear in).

    5. Directed by actors - their only time. Cagney and Larry Hagman. After Hagman's Dallas Notoreity, Son of Blob was rereleased with the tagline, "The film J.R. shot!".

    #12. Both played priests (Monsignor and The Keys of the Kingdom ), both did the Muppet show and both were high profile political lobbyists, Price for Public Access to Art and PFLAG and Reeves for Stem Cell Research

      You're good, Bill! Also, Vincent starred in LAST MAN ON EARTH, based on Matheson's novel I AM LEGEND. Chris's movie was also based on a Matheson novel (BID TIME RETURN).
