We'll play a snippet of the opening or closing theme of a British TV series from the 1960s or 1970s. Your mission (should you decide to accept it) is to name the show. All of these TV series were also broadcast in the U.S. There are ten themes, so it won't take long to play.
Just click on the video below to play. Please leave a comment to let us know how you did--but don't list the answers. Good luck!
7 out of 10. I'm a Fanderson so I liked it!
ReplyDeleteWell, I completely sucked at that and only got 1 right, but it was super fun to hear those grooving themes together like that. Had to play it twice!
ReplyDeleteYou know, they did have some pretty cool themes in the 1960s and early 70s. It's surprising how many were released as singles or included on albums even though they weren't hits on the charts.
DeleteGot two of them correctly. Nice music though!!
ReplyDeleteI only got 3 correct, from shows aimed at a younger audience my time period I guess.
ReplyDeleteTwo or three right answers seems to be the average, so you and Skippy done good. This was a fun quiz to do, but if we do it again, we'll pick Amercan classic TV series.
ReplyDeleteGreat quiz idea, Rick! I got 7!
ReplyDeleteWell done, John! That ties for the most anyone has gotten across all our media platforms.
DeleteOnly got four, Rick. :)
ReplyDeleteI named six, recognized one but couldn't name it, and missed three outright. What a fun quiz!
ReplyDeleteToto and Yvette, 6 and 4 are pretty darn good for this quiz! Cheers!
