Okay. The easy one. #13 Dr. Gillespie
ReplyDeleteI gotta get some coffee and come back for the others.
Easy for you, but you are correct! Hope it was nice, hot cup of joe.
DeleteThese are hard. I can only think of two. #10 - Tony Musante starred in a police show called Toma. The show was retooled and redebuted as Baretta with Robert Blake as the star. #12 - William Daniels was one of the doctors on St. Elsewhere and was the voice of KITT on Knight Rider.
ReplyDeleteRight on both counts. Be proud...not many people would have gotten #10.
Delete9. Roller Derby.
ReplyDeleteRight as always, Bill!
Delete8. Aging prematurely? Happens in SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, and THE MAZE for the latter two. And Olivia must've "played older".
ReplyDeleteThere's a simpler, less interesting connection.
Delete# 3. Both movies are based on novels by Michael Crichton. But that's so easy there must be something else.
ReplyDeleteYou're correct. And "easy" is relative...not many people know MC wrote THE CAREY TREATMENT. But you do!
Delete#6 Donna Reed played mother to: Shelly Fabares (The Donna Reed Show) and Larry Hagman (Dallas).
ReplyDeleteNicely done. That was one of my favorite questions on this quiz.
Delete2. Donna Loren - she was the main female singing re-occurring star on Shindig and was also in the Beach Party movies including Pajama Party.
ReplyDeleteYes, Donna Loren is the connection. We interviewed her a few years ago (link on sideback..self-plug!).
Delete5. Attorneys - Redford in Legal Eagles and March in Inherit The Wind
ReplyDeleteTrue, but there's a much more interesting connection for these two.
Delete15. Tom Conway
ReplyDeleteYes, it was indeed the brother of George Sanders.
Delete11. Their theme songs were both No 1 Billboard hits in '76.
ReplyDeleteHey, that's four questions...but you are right on this one.
DeleteStill be answered: 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 14.
ReplyDelete#5. They both played "Death". Redford on The Twilight Zone and March in Death Takes a Holiday.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, CW!
DeleteNumber 7, both costarred with Tony Curtis. Poitier in The Defiant Ones, and Urich in Vegas.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a connection I didn't think of! There's another one, too.
Delete4. Agatha Christie. Randal as H. Poirot in The Alphabet Murders and Redgrave played Christie in the 70s film titled Agatha.
ReplyDelete1. John Dereck wives in bathing suit roles - Andress in Dr. No and Linda Evans in Beach Blanket Bingo.
ReplyDelete14. Annette O'Toole
ReplyDeleteWell done. Not many people have seen Barry Manilow's only starring movie.
DeleteThere are other answers to 7 and 8, one way of which is literary-related. That's all that remains for this game.
ReplyDelete7. Poitier starred in the original 1958 version of The Defiant Ones, and Urich was in the 1986 TV remake.
ReplyDelete8. All appeared in adaptations of Ray Bradbury stories: Olivia de Havilland in the TV movie, The Screaming Woman, Jason Robards, Jr. in Something Wicked This Way Comes, and Richard Carlson in It Came From Outer Space.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive! And with those last two answers, John V has closed out this game. Thanks everyone for playing. You guys are awesome!
