DeleteJon Voight also guest starred in three episodes. The last one in 1969, The Prisoner, is one of the best episodes in Gunsmoke history.

Great job, Davey! THE MEN FROM SHILOH was an interesting, if ultimately unsuccessful, reworking of THE VIRGINIAN.

Delete4. Robert Wagner and Kevin Costner both played golfers. Wagner in BANNING and Costner in TIN CUP. Wagner and Costner also both appeared in the movie PLAY IT TO BONE. They also both played medieval heroes - Wagner in PRINCE VALIANT and Costner in ROBIN HOOD.
